Rinseless in a pinch.

Hey guys, Putting the cover on my 17SS and I can't get to a wash or have any of the listed Rinseless washes available in Alaska here. Any chance something else simple will work ok?

You should be able to find a Rinseless at a Walmart type store. Turtle wax makes one.

In a pinch I think you could buy a bottle or two of waterless wash and dilute it 50% with distilled water and use that as rinseless.

Do you have Autozone, Advance, NAPA, etc. One of those should have something.

If you have one of those, you can also order online and pick up in store.

Walmart stocks McGuire's waterless wash in bottles for around 6.00 each - it works really well in a pinch, not as good as ONR or Duragloss but will do the trick, use plenty of it and lots of clean microfiber towels folded in quarters and flip after each stroke.

He's in Alaska. A lot of places won't ship there without extra charges, if at all.

The meguiar's is like 15.00 a bottle at Walmart. I found the Turtlewax for 6 bucks. The whole car isn't bad. Just a little splash on the fender wells and sides some. Just wanted to get the stuff off and do a quick detail before I throw the fleece blankets on it and then the chevy cover.)
