Most definitely. The cooler the tires and/or road the less grip there is. In the summer you may get on it a bit and have the car just hook and go, then when it's cooler out, you do the same thing and you'll spin and get sideways.

I already turn everything off like you mentioned in your earlier post, but that's only turning off traction control and stability control. Torque management is still in effect and limits how much power we have available. At least in the first couple of gears like you mentioned. It sounds like this drag tune might possibly remove or modify the torque management since the car can hit 1.4 60's.

That's awesome! Good luck getting in the 10s. Still waiting for one of us to get it done. I had plans to try again myself this weekend, but I'm not sure the weather is going to allow it. Hopefully it changes. I'm certain I can get an 11.0 if the traction is there again, but hoping I can squeeze out a 10.

I swapped out the DS in the Hellcat this weekend to an upgraded unit. I'm gonna post pictures of that puny stock drive shaft, you should see it. NO wonder they pretzel up in this 4500lb car.

From the looks of it, the drive shaft swap was a smart move. Especially running drag radials.

This Saturday is looking good last I looked at the weather.

Man, this thing had a 2.25" drive shaft in it on the small end past the carrier bearing! What were they thinking!!

Yeah. 2.5" is crazy!!! That's something that should only be on a 4 cylinder car. I think it's solid in that part of the shaft though.

Seriously?!! They shouldn't cancel TNT just for them. Sure.....make everyone stop running for a bit while they film something, then resume until they're ready to film again.

Guess I'll just have to try my luck at London then. I managed to get some good prep and my best 60' last time at London. That's the first time I've been able to hook up at London. The DA was just too high to get my best ET. 11.18 still isn't bad for 2300+ DA and a heat soaked car.
