"stainless steel does not rust." There are different types of SS. Most SS does rust. Ever buy a grill from Lowes or HD? That SS rusts. Ever buy a sub par boat? SS is a general term that allows vendors to get away with statements without giving all the details. With SS you get what you pay for.

If everyone is concerned about rusting then take the headers somewhere and get them ceramic coated. Will reduce engine temps as well as help reduce rust

It looks like these cars don't gain as much as say the LS1, obviously a more efficient factory exhaust design, but I'd still do it as it will make more of a difference with other mods and that sound....... Mine already revs down between gear changes like a champ, can't imagine with longtubes.
