Interesting note on the OnStar front. The dealer recommended we do the same thing. So I had him register OnStar to me. I then could add it to my OnStar profile using the VIN. However, it was not active. I called OnStar and they said that it was on my account profile but it can take up to 24 hours before the online and phone app services will be available. Last night was 24 hours later and still no activation. I called OnStar tech support and they said it was enabled but the the activation failed and to activate at this point, I would have to press the "blue" OnStar button. Needless to say, I can't do that (If I could do that, I wouldn't need OnStar). So I now have the dealer making contact with his OnStar rep to see if there is some workaround. Just keep hitting walls on this order. I'll keep you posted.

It will connect - the next time - it is started.

They might be finishing it as I type, however I wouldn't
see the VIN until the following day. I suggest we check
daily until that VIN shows up!
