Did that year have the limp mode For temps? The gt350 and the 2018 have limp modes to a certain temp.

The floppy chassis, softly sprung, overly grabby braked, and constantly overheating Ford was pure and utter garbage in comparison to the Camaro. I know, I know... there's a rivalry, people will get upset, whatever... I've actually owned both and I can tell you for sure the rear diff WILL overheat in 6 laps or less at your local road course, and you can add a cooler to get to 8-9 laps if you want then add an electronic fan to that to get to 10 but you won't get your 20 lap sessions in your GTPP no matter how hard you try. It will also suck shifting your MT82 dump truck gearbox the whole time, but that's another story altogether.

Ford was saying early on they'd offer a cooler for the TORSEN cars, then they never did... this was Ford's realization that their additional cooler WOULD NOT resolve the issues so they just didn't offer it because at that point they would have to take responsibility.

Also I should mention that whenever you get the GT nice and warm it will fill the entire vehicle with the stench of uncatalyzed exhaust (we went trough this, it's leaking at the manifold before the cats and all the save-a-ho's on the mustang forums somehow couldn't believe this even though it's also happening on the Explorer...).

Ford was horrible to work with, they are unresponsive and really don't care about people who give them $40K+ on a car they special ordered that was constantly screwed up and never lived up to what they advertised.

ON the other hand, I could not be happier with my 1LE... I hope buyers get the message and stop buying that Garbage Mustang... it's just not good, the chassis is so weak that the rear view mirror vibrates on rough pavement much less over bumps... you can't turn out of your neighborhood without the diff binding and causing wheel hop on the inside tire (seriously, this is beyond annoying...) the gearbox is the equivalent of a wet noodle shifting through burnt vomit... the brakes are so grabby that if you sneeze the car will slam your face into the steering wheel (which is covered in the worst fake "leather" you've ever felt, not such a minor complaint on something you're forced to touch during every interaction with the car)..

So then Ford is releasing a "competitor" to the 1LE that doesn't have a torque vectoring differential or performance traction management or two piece rotors or standard Recaro seats... but it has Cup 2 tires and a new splitter.

But hey, the trunk has a larger opening so...

F that turd, and F Ford while we're at it since they are shit at supporting their customers.
Thank you for helping me disabuse myself of the notion of buying GT with PP

2015 doesn't have sensors for rear diff.. Added in 2016. If you check the track section of the Mustang forum, you'll see that there are people who have reported their cars going into limp mode, but can happen probably to just about any car.. Not having a cooler doesn't mean that it will necessarily go into limp mode though.

And let's not forget, the SS alone puts out more Torque than even the latest GT350. Lol. Yeah go ahead, advertise that (5.0) litre engine. Also, no sunroof options on higher trim mustangs/Shelbys ... feck em.

There is no sunroof option on any 2015+ Mustang.

Having an option for one isn't bad.. And I've never had an issue with a sunroof.

Ill give you that the option for one is fine. But then almost every single car on the lot has one lol, making finding a car you want on the lot very difficult

? How is it the 5.2 FPC engine won the GS series against Camaro's in 2016? How is it the marginally lighter GT350 with 429 ft-lb torque able to out accelerate a LS7 Camaro Z28, which some GM's fans are saying makes 530 ft-lb? If so how is the Ford GT with just 550 ft-lb torque 2 seconds quicker around a track than a Z06 Vette with 650 ft-lb torque? Other than the GT is simply a far better racing platform.
Torque & Horse power combined make a great engine, favoring one or the other is foolish.
Frankly I think Ford is throwing GM a bone with the gearing on the 2018 Mustang. The Mustang is moving faster at the end of the quarter mile and out accelerates the LT1 Camaro beyond about 120 to the electronically controlled engine cut-off (155). All Ford really needs to do is shorten gearing a tad and the 5.0L get into the higher RPM a little quicker and it wins 0-60 and the 1/4 w/o the 10 speed auto.

Depends on what you want your car for. Mine is my daily and even though the sunroof will never get used for 6 months out of the year (winter), it's nice having the additional light coming into the cabin.

It's really nice for sunny days and cruising around. Especially if I have rear passengers.

Never had a Mustang, have had 8 Camaros over the years. I gotta admit I like it’s looks. The stance and wheels look sweet. I honestly like the front, rear and interior looks over a Camaro. Yep I said it. That said I’m a Chevy guy and hope to have ZL1 down the road.

No Camaro's in CTSC GS class for 2016 season. The Z/28R's had more restrictions than someone on probation/parol on top of being the heaviest of the GS class. 200+ lbs in not marginally lighter comparing GT350R 3662lbs vs Z/28 3882lbs street cars.

The '15 doesn't have a diff temp sensor. Blissful ignorance on the temp.

I can assure you that a 2016+ driven hard will go into limp mode for engine temps. Mine only did it once. Once to me that is. I traded it in after that.
