I went with the General G-Max AS-05's and I am very happy with them, I hate those run on flats.

I'll second those Generals. Also good is the DWS06 from Continental, BFGoodrich Comp 2 A/S if you can find them.
Continental ExtremeContact Sport and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S for the summer tires. What sort of driving do you do?

I ran the Comp 2 A/S's last year from November to this May. Softer ride than the F-1 OEM's, never saw any snow, but WAY better than the Goodyears when it was 10-20 degrees!

wow 5 replies and nobody mentioned Michellin's yet... which is what I was considering.... I know we have a few here that went that way, I am hoping for some feedback on those as well.

The second response mentioned the Michelins. I was originally going to replace my tires when they wore out with new 4s myself. I wound up getting a nail in the rear and the warranty I bought would only replace with the oem so I got new f1s in the rear. And then I found out this weekend I needed to replace the fronts and was looking at the Michelins. I saw several people recommended the Firestone Firehawk and decided to save some money and try them out. I can tell such a big difference! I only have a few thousand mileage on the rear, but want to replace them with the Firestones right now lol.

I have a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4s for summer. Honestly, I can't really tell a difference between them and the PSS, although they have noticeably more grip than the stock GYs.
I tried a few different tires for winter. We don't typically get much snow, so I went with an all season. I got Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+. They don't make the factory size for the fronts, but the rears match up. They have great grip as well and I feel like they are as good as the stock GYs. I like them enough that I have another set ordered for my C7 |
