I started to change out my plenum and fuel rail covers from one custom-painted River City Customs style to the swivel design. But, the plenum doesn't want to come off as easy (for me anyway) due to stiff fuel lines. So, for now, just the fuel rails for an intermediate look. By the way, I learned to make sure if you unplug something, plug it back in before starting the car or you might throw a CEL as I did. And then get a notice from OnStar that my car needs immediate service. Not really. Just needs CEL cleared. I'll let the service department install the plenum when they clear the CEL and install my SEMA grille. Also, I installed my strut tower brace. IMO, the black letters in the "1LE" I choose don't pop enough so will brighten that up with another on the way. Finally, installed HBM engine cap covers and oil dipstick.

Looks good. I'm surprised the 1LE doesn't come with a strut tower brace. Wonder why?

You park your car in the basement? Lol How? Would love to see pics of that.

Put him to sleep

So, today was the last day I drove my Camaro. I gave him a wash made some pics. Later when the engine is cooled down he will get his Pyjama and than go to sleep. For me the season 2017 is officially over.

It's essentially my work space / 3rd garage spot. The Miata is the girlfriend's other car before I bought her the '14 vert. I should sell it but I want to get it running and make excuses to upgrade it and take it around the Tail of the Dragon.

Thanks Cgocifer. As far as the 1LE not coming with a strut tower brace, from what I've read, the 6th Gen coupe is stiff enough it's not needed. But, apparently the convertibles get them standard. And, the coupe 6th Gens do have the braces from each strut tower to the firewall. So, for all of us coupe guys, adding the brace is likely more aesthetic than actually necessary. I'm fine with that either way. The one thing that I'm a little disappointed about on the 6th Gen 1LE (all types) is that we only get the badging in sticker form on the brake calipers. So, for me, this is a way for me to highlight the car under the hood, and since 1LE is about handling, badging the brace seemed appropriate. As I mentioned before, the black letters against the HBM on the brace are kind of lost due to shadowing. So, I'm going to fix that by switching to brushed stainless. That should help it "pop" more. I see your 1LE is white, so if you did a white brace the black as I currently have on mine would do just fine.

Car's gotta go back to the dealer for rear diff leak for the 2nd time. That's aggravating.

Thanks, I did read that the alpha platform is extremely rigid. Not sure I will add a brace, but yours does look good and I do like the 1LE on it. Will look killer when you change it to stand out more.

Installed the Diode Dynamics RGBW Grille LED kit. Like it. Gonna have to get rid of that license plate now.
