Clicking midway through clutch travel

Hey all, I'm wondering if any of you have ran into this issue.

I think this issue started after I got stuck driving in stop an go traffic up a very steep San Francisco hill. I've been driving manual for years but with the long gears in this car and the extreme grade of the hill, I could feel/smell the clutch and fluid getting hot at the top of the hill.

When pushing the clutch in slowly, I can now feel a slight click/sticking point about midway through the travel that I don't remember being there before. I'm wondering if this may either be an issue with the clutch or with the fluid from overheating. The car still drives fine and the clutch grabs just as hard as before. Not sure if I'm being overly sensitive or if there may be an issue with the clutch?

I plan on having the fluid flushed with something more temperature resistant in the near future and will have the master tech at my dealership take a look but wanted some opinions in the mean time. Thanks!

i've started to notice something similar but mines right off the floor.
when i press it down, i feel like i hit a stop, but then can press just a little further after... i thought i was hitting the floor mat at first.

I was noticing a little something from my clutch today but I don’t recall if it was exactly what your describing, I’ll see when I take it out for a drive in a bit.

Hmm I can't say I have experienced this. On a side note though I have experienced the clutch shaking or vibrating when fully depressed when shifting from 1st to 2nd during a turn.

OP, does the clutch feel like it sticks/clicks when you first start it up or only when warm and driven for a while? Is it easily reproduced?
