His car was running drag radials on the 10.6/10.7 passes (stock front wheel/tires) Full interior.

With street tires it did 11.2 spinning down the track. The car was getting loose at higher speeds on DR's. That's why it looked all over on that pass.

As far as the socket, shit happens

You have any details of what's done to his car?

If he's spinning DRs on the big end, he's either making 1000RWHP or that track was crap. If slicks on back and radial up front, I get it moving around. Else, it should have stayed in the groove no problemo.

I asked him what he has done. He said Long tubes, intake, upper pulley and meth. With all of that, I would of hoped it would run a bit stronger, but the car is still fast.

Really surprised myself today at my local track! It started off like usual, without much traction it seemed. I started off trying to launch the car the same way I did last time at Bowling Green, but of course it wasn't working. Then as I started trying to slowly launch a bit softer, by rolling into the throttle a little slower and slower, it started hooking better. I not only managed to run my best ET so far at London, but I even ran my best 60' ever. Unfortunately, the car was heat soaked from many back to back passes with very little cool down. Part of the 60' success came from more track prep too, I think, as they would prep the track right before one of the really fast cars would run the left lane that I was restricted to, due to my street tires.

Of course the mph had to be down when the 60 foots get better lol. I'm guessing launching easier reduces how much torque management intervenes, which is partially why the 60 foots are getting better. I want to see somebody smoothly but swiftly roll into the throttle from idle when launching, I bet that would result in a good 60 foot. If you have the right DA, then boom. 10 second pass (hopefully).

Somebody on the Hellcat forums just ran a 10.64 at 129 with a stock Hellcat on drag radials. Their 60 foot was 1.54

Yesterday 1/4 Pass

So I didn’t run my stock tires yesterday and just put on the Welds, I had 3 passes at 11.2X, and this was my best pass of the day (11.24 @ 126.05). I did run my stock tires and went 11.4X two weeks prior. The car is consistent really, but the TQ Management is just unreal.

I went to South Georgia for a pony wars gathering by steeda and ran best of 11.41 121 heat soaked that pass but happened to be my best 60 foot of the day 1.75 track was crap and kept blowing Tires off but that time I just eased into it and let it hook and surprised me with that as others were 1.85s spinning most of day. Best mph when let car cool for 1 hour was 124 but still had 135 iat when rolled up to line to go and was down 9 degrees of timing right off the bat as at 133 in tune it takes a second 7 degrees after pulling 2 I believe around 100. When I tried to let it sit last week at gainsville and cool I rolled right up with a cooler car in sport mode and damn thing wouldn’t make the 2-3 or 3-4 with out getting into the rev limit when it was cooler. Never did it with a warm trans only when sat a bit. I have noticed when I leave work too if I stood on it right after leaving it is lazy to shift once warm it’s fine just hit 1700 miles on it driving home from Valdosta to Jacksonville. It was really hot and humid 83-85 and 58-92 percent humidity. I ended up runner up to a 2000 trans am with Texas speed heads and cam on a 6.0 with a progressive 100 shot on it. He ran 11.10 to my 11.41 to take the money. I still walked with gas money home from event and had fun beating out all the fords at a ford event. Lol. Out of all the supercharged cars I ran the best E.T. a few were a little better mph. 2013 gt500 123-124 most passes on 11.90s about 5 of them there most ran 115-119 the fast one had exhaust tune and cold air. 2010 ctsv e85 pulley ice tank in trunk 11.43 124 best for day said ran 10.90s 129 normally but weather had him slow. Only two hellcats both 4 door on drag radials both stock 12.2 119 best best between them both other was street Tires and was high 12.7 most of day. Stock ctsv coupe 12.3 114 his best where said normally around 11.9 119 in cooler weather. Had a few small mods cold air muffler delete said something else didn’t hear it though. So for the day and conditions I think in the 50s where won’t pull all that timing I see an easy 10.9s with no timing being pulled if can get it to pull at least 1.7s just too hot and humid here still. Corrected is like 11.1 for that pass I believe when did the humidity and temp that run.
First of all, nice run for terrible air.

It was 75 with around 43% humidity for me. I've also had the slow shift from 3-4 once at the track after the car sat and cooled off for several hours. I didn't know what was going on at the time. Just knew it nosed over for some reason and then took back off. After watching my PDR video, I saw that it didn't shift and let it hit the rev limiter.

It sounds like you've looked at the tune table on our cars. 9 degrees at 133?!! That's a lot of timing!

So far, as my 60' has gotten better, my mph has gone up unless the supercharger is heat soaked from hot lapping. No doubt this car can run a 10 with good DA and traction.

So in short, the heat absolutely kills the performance on these cars because the tune is over protective and pulls tons of timing. Combine that with the little blower spinning fast and it's a recipe for large deviations between runs in various conditions.

I ran a 11.59 at 121 the other day with 7800' DA. I feel like the car has 10s in it at low elevation.

I've been seeing about 1 to 2 mph less trap speed after my blower heats up. The biggest difference I'm seeing mph wise on the time slip is due to variances in the track's timing system. At Bowling Green, the speedo readings in my PDR video is roughly 1 mph higher (average between the timing lines) than the timeslip. At London, the left lane will have a 4 mph difference and the right lane will have about 2.5 mph difference. Both tracks read pretty much dead on at the 1/8 mark. My fastest pass at Bowling Green is a little over 127 and my fastest at London is right at 124, and the PDR speeds are identical between the two. The ET is also pretty much identical at both tracks whenever the 60', car temp, and DA are close to the same. So for whatever reason, the trap speed at London reads lower than it should and will vary by 1.5 mph, depending on which lane you run.

Everything lined up for me on friday. -400 da, good track prep, 1.705 60', yet I could only run a 11.19. The pass before, I had a 1.79 60' but ran an 11.25. I should've run at least an 11.12 with the 1.70 60', given the normal rule of thumb. There's no doubt in my mind that this car has stock 10 second potential, with a lighter driver. It's weird though, on the 11.19 pass, I could feel that the car wasn't pulling, or shifting like it did the pass before. The timeslip showed that I lost 1 mph compared to the previous pass. Even when I was slowing down, it wasn't downshifting aggressively like it normally would.
