Exhaust Tip Part #

Is there a part # for the exhaust tip separate from the entire suitcase? It appears to be a separate piece just tack welded on.

Sure, if they were available separately, I would powder coat them satin black. People complain about cleaning the wheels but, the exhaust tips are a bigger pain to keep clean.

The exhaust tips wipe clean with water on a paper towel. Takes me longer to get the paper towel damp, than it does to do the wiping (yes, I am still talking about the exhaust tips).

Really? I'll certainly give that a try. Perhaps I've been overcomplicating it and using a metal polish. Truth be told though, I'd rather they were black anyway.

Not a separate part number...plenty of aftermarket exhausts out there that look just as good as oem or better... carb cleaner makes cleaning the tips effortless.

No way. That's the problem. Absolutley NONE of the aftermarket exhaust tips look better than OEM.

The exhaust tips are no comparison to these freaking wheels. You shouldn't have to use metal polish every time either. In my experience, once I've polished exhaust tips on my cars a few times, it's really not needed anymore and the tips are super easy to clean from then on.
