Now the LT1 has the benefit of DI which the gen3 Coyote will share so it will be interesting to see the disparity once the playing field is level. I suspect it will be in the same 30-40ft/lb range
Well if you knew anything about engines then you would know it's also about where the torque is being made. Chevy's pushrod engines make lots of torque early on which is why they get ahead and stay ahead of the GT. Coyote engines have to be revved and don't start making torque until higher up. Which means you have to launch the heck out of it because it has nothing in the lower RPMs. And even then they can't hook for shit. Once you do start to hook (after upgrading stuff on it) is when you start breaking shit.

Camaros were easy to tune. But now they have DFI and the engines are different. So the tuners are still getting the hang of it. But lately more and more tuners have been popping up providing custom and email tunes. And of course you could always get it tuned on the rollers. Ford has stuck with the same basic engine format for who knows how long now. So it is easy to tune them if you've been doing it for a while. I am guessing if they switch to DFI then their engines will be more difficult to tune and probably not as reliable. And probably limited on how they respond to forced induction. I'm looking forward to see how this all pans out.

I figured those stubs would shut you up about bringing money/assuming people are broke but I should've known better. Deflection noted bro, I've shot down every single one of statements/assumptions but you keep digging. I'm living rent free in your head and it shows in your frustration posts.

Noticed lethal performance already has a gen 3 Whipple kit for the 2018 on their website. Looks like early to me.

Shut me up? Boy you posted numbers and we're supposed to believe what you said? You don't make shit. And even if your BS story was true, it still proves you're a hypocrite. You're a troll on here driving a S197 Mustang and that is if you even have a Mustang. And it probably isn't even a GT. And I'm supposed to be impressed? LOL, give me a break. That is the stupidest shit you've said so far.

12.9 in a quarter mile vs 12.3 says it all. Mustangs make very little to no power down low. And even if they did they still come with weak suspension components and crappy tires.

Can't say I'm surprised at this childish response. I'd post my dyno sheet but it's probably photoshopped, though common sense would tell you if I was to lie about my numbers I'd come up with something more impressive like 900-1000whp

Mods,
The intent of starting this thread was just to get info on when the comparison tests might be conducted. The thread has gone so far off topic that I'd recommend just locking it.

Thanks.

I agree. Cant seem to post any info or opinion about the 2018 without a certain person cursing/insulting/taking personal jabs.

Yea just go back and see where it all started to go downhill. Right. It was where you insisted that everyone was wrong when we mentioned all the issues that plagued the S550. And it was where you insisted we were all wrong when we mentioned that the S550 needs to be completely modded to keep up with a stock SS. And it was where you argued that S550 GTs were "deep in the 12s" bone stock despite all of us knowing better. And it was where you tried to argue that the Shelby is perfectly normal pushing high boost and Coyotes can handle over 800 to the wheels as a DD. You sat here trying to debate everyone and then calling me a liar when I mentioned tons of issues that has been repeatedly discussed even over on the Mustang forums. And you're trying to make everyone think you know better. Yet most of us talking about the S550 has owned one and you don't. So we're all to listen to you in your S197, if you even have that. And now you wanna play innocent and act like you're a victim. If you want a pity party or if you want people to praise the S550 then you're in the wrong place. Those of us who have owned one know a lot more about how shitty that car is than you. And if you bought one you'd probably know more than you think you do.

Man get the hell outta here. You couldn't hold an intelligent conversation with anyone or anything. I don't believe a thing you have to say. Even if you do have a S550, which I highly doubt, it still doesn't change the fact that the current Mustang is garbage. Anyone who gets one will end up having to mod the hell out of it to get decent performance. Good bye and good riddance.
