Earlier this week I noticed a smell of coolant after driving and found evidence of same, in very small amounts, inside the hub/pulley on the water pump and a little bit of pink between a couple of the fins on the alternator.
Took her in to the dealer this morning. Initially they were only able to confirm there was a leak but couldn’t determine the source. After looking at it all day they were finally able to confirm that the water pump was the source of the leak. Unfortunately they have to order it and it won’t be available until Monday afternoon. Additionally bad for me is that I will be out of town all of next week. That means she’ll be sittin’ at the dealer for over a week and not in my garage. Just a little concerned but I’ve had to leave her with these guys overnight before and not had any issues.
Just FYI for everyone.
Had the car since July 25, 2016 and just rolled over 13k miles this week. Quite a few of those are highway miles. Pretty docile driving habits, comparatively speaking. Only an occasional fast start. (Don’t judge.)

Your best bet is to contact them to see how they handle custom jobs. From my experience, they can take their existing 'stock' and make it whatever size you need. They're pretty accommodating, but as I said it's best to contact them for custom items.

Oh Ric,
That is sad. But at least it is under warranty. Is it just you or is it in general that the dealer are not really carful with the cars.

I've not had bad dealings with the service departments (sales is another story , highly recommend BeckyD , BTW). Just that I've seen others with some horror stories. They did a great job in fixing my passenger side F1FTY emblem, and they took care of me with a trim panel replacement for the convertible top when it was rubbing with the top down.
I'm still apprehensive about leaving it there all week , much less overnight. But at some point I've got to trust them until proven otherwise.

Finally installed my Rohana rfx10s with Goodyear supercar f1 3 tires, 20x10 and 20x11.

Also put on powerstop z23 pads to keep the shiny new wheels free of breakdust, and the Zl1 add-ons front splash guards (since I had to remove the GM ones to fit my zl1 style side skirts).

Added Elite Engineering Catch Can LGX V6

Added simply catch can inline to the return line to the induction. Bought the original return line from the dealer ($19.00) to rob the fittings, so I can put back to stock for smog vary quickly.
Made a simple bracket to attach to bolt near firewall.
Can't wait to see how much stuff I catch in a few thousand miles.

Glen...haha, now you tell me, I tried the sandwich bag and although I did catch some oil, most of it went into the oil catch container. I was surprised at how much oil is released when you initially unscrew the filter, I'll try a larger bag next time, Thx.
