gen5 camaro i had for 2 years and loved the car..
fords are junk
the s550 drives just like a ford sierra we had here in europe..
that coyote motor lol..zero torque..total pos motor.

I didn't think the brakes were any better than the 5th Gen Camaro SS brakes. At least the Camaro SS gave you Brembos all the way around. The S550 GT with PP gave you Brembos in the front only. WHich is stupid and cheap as hell...just typical of Ford.

And yea it is a learning curve. If I could go back I would never have bought that GT. I had remorse before I even got home and it tanked in value like you would believe. And it had just over 6000 miles and was 2 years old when I got rid of it. Never again.

Technically, I think ALL Mustangs are garbage...not just yours. And you are broke and a fanboy so that was just me calling it as I see it. And I never said I felt insulted. I don't care enough about Mustang people to ever feel insulted by anything they say. I said that you were throwing insults. But now you're an innocent little Mustang-victim. Here's the thing, nobody cares bro. The S197 was garbage. The S550 is garbage. The Shelby is a POS. And the 18 will be an overhyped expensive POS. It might be slightly faster than the current GT. But I'm not expecting anything thrilling from the Ford camp.

I just did a build on the site and getting a GT the way I want it comes out to $56,475. And some other options I wanted couldn't even be combined. So OTD I would be over $60K which puts me right on the heels of a brand new ZL1. And it will perform nowhere even close. SMH.

Yes, MSRP is high. My opinion is that one should never pay MSRP for a vehicle, if you are then you arent even trying to get a good deal. I dont like that they raised the prices, I wanted the curb weight to come down 150-200lbs, but it might still outsell the camaro at these prices.

The best way to get a great deal on a GT is to wait for the rental car companies inventory turnover. Lots of low mile cars at low, low prices. From what I've read, most guys are going to use that great Mustang aftermarket to completely rebuilt it anyway.
