I just have a quick question for the OP.
Since you had a 5th Gen ZL1 and now have a 6th Gen ZL1. Could you comment about wheel spin on the street with the torque the LSA and the LT4 have? |

The 2014 ZL1 felt great on street, it had plenty of power for passing and leaving someone at a red light. However the 2018 feels more like an animal, you can get in a lot of trouble with it if you're not careful. I believe I first described it as a weaponized car. It just felt like it was hunting something, always ready to strike. Far more power than one needs on the road. At the track, it feels at home. FWIW, I'm going to take the 2018 ZL1 1LE to a car control clinic in a few weeks (since my first set of tires is already cooked) and, at that clinic I will be exploring wheelspin on purpose. I'll report back for sure. Already did one and posted a video when I took a CCC with the 2014. (Link - https://youtu.be/aKHevMv_Y8E) |

Mounted up my Z/28 wheels and tires, I like the way it looks with these better than the OEM ZL1 1LE wheels...

Those Z/28 wheels do look awesome on the car. Are they the same width and offset as the ZL1 1LE wheels?

Nice time.
On my first time ever racing any car, on any track ever, I ran a 1:07 as one of my better laps there in my 2017 ZL1. That run was with an instructor in the front seat and traffic in front the entire run (including part of straightaway). I even had to wait for them to signal me to pass on the straightaway which slowed me down a lot, not every driver had enough situational awareness to keep an eye on who was riding their bumper. I wish I had your stickier tires! I felt the car would do 1:00 to 1:04 with just driver improvement if I head back there again. I was in the novice class the last time I went. I'd like to see what it does with some better rubber, maybe next year. Are you heading back on October 9th or 28th? I did the car control clinic they offered first then did the big track on my second trip up there. The car control clinic was a blast: http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=500058
