As I understand it, the card only has one start/finish on it. So I've been thinking about using multiple small SD cards as opposed to one big monster that I have to keep resetting the start/finish data.

Am I wrong? Can one card have multiple start/finishes defined?

Thank you.

I believe that's correct. It's a uniquely named file, so it would only see whatever that file is set up as.

I've not had a chance to muck about with the file on mine to see if it'll understand it or not and what format it's in.

What would be really trick is if the GPS coords are in the file in a readable method.. Then, we could all just share out our S/F line data, instead of sharing files (which could lead to infection issues with PC's if someone took advantage of that).

I guess it all depends on how that file looks and where it's storing the GPS track map bit. If all of that is in there as well, then it wouldn't be as simple as updating the CoOrds in the file..

I'm guessing it's in the Fuchtons monetary system. Which is a higher level of the Crahptons system.

I took my '18 SS 1LE out to Blackhawk yesterday for one of their open track days. This was my first day out in this car. Most of the laps I did yesterday were faster than my PB in my 911. Harry's said my best lap yesterday was a 1:20.9. PDR says that lap is a 1:21.0. I like the 1:20 better, so I'm going with that.

Anyway, here are videos from each of my 5 sessions.

Session 1

Session 2

Session 3

Session 4

Session 5

I think I missed my 2017 goal of under 2 flat with a small bobble in turn 15. Had to let off a split second leading into the straight which cost me 2-3 mph at the end of the straight. UGH. Maybe next time.

My latest on 9/19 at Big Willow was consistent in the 1:35 area with a calculated best of 1:34. Whether was perfect at about 78*. Was running Goodyear Supercar 3s on 20s.

Will have the NT-01s on 19s next time our in Nov.

Indeed, good lines and throttle control also

I suffer from the same thing My last two PB lap times at the RMP 1:53.05 and 1:53.02 respectively. I was hoping to get into 1:52s but it looks like it will be next season. If there was no traffic or oil spillage at the last event, it would be different . With some 18" wheels and super sticky tires, I should be able to shave a bit more for sure

Nice driving OminouSS. I like your lines. What tires were you running?

Here is a short clip of my crash at Buttonwillow last week. Embarrassing really, as I always teach my students to straighten the wheel if they are going off track. Oh well, do as I say, not as I do...

Completely due to a lack of focus. Good reminder for everyone...

Cremaster.. sorry about that adventure. Hopefully there was little or no contact. Any damage?

I was trying to see where things went wing, as it is always a good learning tool. Did you analyze yet?

Did you hit the rumble on the right pushing the rear out?

Oh... Why straighten the wheel, don't see if that would have made a difference here...

My analysis:
Turned in too early
Hit the apex curb and unsettled the car (small)
Didn't recognize that I was going to go off the track and straighten the wheel. Last thing you want is to have the steering wheel still turned as the car goes off track as the loss of traction in the rear, with the front wheels turned, will cause the car to spin. If I had straightened the wheel and drove two or four wheels off I wouldn't have spinned.

Main issue was that I lost focus and concentration. I had been driving hard when I caught the cars in front and then just followed them, thinking of other things....

Thanks... been there.

Interesting about the wheel. I need to recognize that, as I always turn into the spin, and the 2 times I spun it... I left it hard into the countersteer.
