So....its been almost four months since someone asked about 1LE Satin Black. The last post on 9/20 made no mention of whether or not this was in process, you merely listed what is already available.

ARE you guys working on 1LE satin black or should those of us trying to match our cars go somewhere else?

Lastly, you also promised an install guide. Any chance that's still in process?

So my delivery has changed. I am at home waiting for FedEx today. Yes the skirts are coming in early.

No sooner than I hit enter, I get a knock on the door. Yes fedex just dropped off my skirts. I opened the box for a quick inspection. It was in perfect condition. Then I went out to put them on the car, temporarily, with spring clips. They fit perfect. The wait was well worth it. Thanks C7 Carbons.

HAHAHA. Now I just need to wait for my wing to come in from ACS. Once I get that, then I can send in all the parts to get painted. So far, everything fits really nice.

Since the lip is fiberglass can we assume that the second it hits anything it will crack vs scrape of abs? Anyone tested durability yet?

Since I'm still waiting on mine to arrive, I thought I would get everything in advance to install. Does the skirts come with the mounting hardware? Do they arrive with black pop rivets or should I get some (don't plan on using screws). If none are provided, what size is recommended?

Mine came with screws. I prefer to use pop rivets also. I would also like to know what size to use.

Is the drilling isolated to the underside of the factory rockers near the pinch welds? Or do you have to drill in more visible areas. Concerned with leaving visible holes in the body if the side skirts were to come off.

Hi guys, our ZL1 style side skirt sets come with .5" long self tapping screws. If the preferred choice is to go with pop rivets instead, we recommend using 3/16" diameter .5" long aluminum pop rivets. Drilling on the rocker panel is required for either option.
The side skirts have several pre-drilled holes located on the inner flange surface that can be fasten with the mounting hardware. These pre-drilled holes sit bellow the rocker panels and also on the lower angled edge of the rocker panel. Without the side skirt installed, the holes drilled on that lower angled edge may be visible from ground level. The side skirts can be attached to the Camaro combining the self tapping screws/pop rivets with double sided tape [not included] through out the flange surface for extra grip and help suck in any slight gaps. That being said, the location and amount of bolting points applied when securing the side skirts to the vehicle will be to the installer's discretion.

We'll make sure to post further news on our products soon.
