Any way to turn off the 1st to 4th shift?

Is there a way to turn off the 1st to 4th shift? I just want to shift my car like normal and the bypass annoys me.

It can be done in HPTuners or with the normal CAGS bypass that you can buy from just about anywhere since 1994.....

I shift 1st to 3rd every time for "normal" driving... not locked out, very smooth, plenty of power, one less shift... etc etc.

2nd is only needed for this!

you can order a $2 pack of resistors online, there will be 5 in the pack. You only need 1, so for the cost of about $2 you can make the CAGS bypass. The resistor just installs in the harness side of the plug, slid the resistor in and tape the end of the plug up and tap the CAGS solenoid up and you are good to go.

Otherwise a tune is the only other way to stop it fully.
