I got my 1LT V6 A8 for $24K in August 16. Retail was $31K. It wasn't the best deal, though, because they sold a similar RS the following week for $22K. Oh well.

that's a good deal...I drove off with a beautiful redline but still paid 30k for it. July 4th rebates. Plus you get the wheels, the decals, the tint, the spoiler...etc

When I bought my 2016 Camaro, I got it during the 20% off deals in the beginning of October 2016. I also had a good amount of GM Buy Power Rewards to put towards it.
Here’s my setup: 2016 Camaro in Hyper Blue Metallic $26,695 V6 Engine $1,495 A8 Automatic Transmission $1,495 RS Package $1,950 Technology Package $800 Black Rally Stripes $470 Sunroof, Power $900 Total Price with Options: $33,805 Less 20%$6761 Less GM Points$3027 Total Price before NYS Tax (big ouch) $24017 To me it was such a good deal I couldn’t say no lol. I imagine I got more of a discount but I couldn't tell because of my trade in. I got a lot more for trade there than I was offered at the Ford dealer (traded a Ford at the Chevy dealer) I researched the heck out of my trade in value before going in and I feel they gave me a great deal. The first set of numbers came back higher than I wanted and I kept offering to leave and try other places and then they finally came back with an out the door price I couldn't refuse. -Justin Last edited by Shield1561; 09-18-2017 at 10:25 PM. |

I bought my 2017 HBM 1LT RS V6 A8 vert with an MSRP of 37830 for what just may be the best vert deal ever. I paid just 21600 plus tax and fees during the Chevy Labor Day Event! The price was after a 1K GM card rebate 1K Labor Day cash 1500 loyalty cash 1K select market rebate and an additional 2k rebate everyone qualified for. A total of 6500 in rebates and a negotiated 9730 dealer discount came to just under 43% off MSRP. A totally amazing deal on a sweet ride and a price less than most pay for a Cruze!!

Do you really have nothing better to do then troll the V6 section. Nobody believes you man you've been called out on the main form so now you're coming to the V6 section. Nobody believes you almost got $17,000 or 40 plus percent off of a brand new car

If you really did get almost $17,000 off of a 2017 that's only two and a half months into it 2018 you've got a deal of a century and they had no reason to blow it out for that price I'm thinking that you paid what you paid but you had a trade I would love to see that receipt |

Just some friendly and hopefully helpful advice to the naysayers or anyone that's buying any car new in the future... volume dealers sometimes get huge incentives and coupons/certificates to put towards deals after hitting their monthly number in sales. I am a car enthusiast and have purchased many new cars over the last 40 years and sometimes I Luck out and get an amazing deal like this one. Trust me there are also many examples of when I got beat up badly buying a new car but I have learned from my mistakes. My deal was exceptional I totally agree but it was one in a million and I can say that I'm sure the dealer still found a way to turn a profit on the sale or I wouldn't be driving my vert!

I respectably disagree as my deal is proof that it makes all the difference in the world how a dealer does business. I'm 100% sure that my deal would have been a big loser at all other Chevy dealers in my market. When a high volume dealership reaches their monthly sales goals and rewarded for it with additional incentives and coupons they can use them to make a deal very sweet and their profit margin remains.
