I'd like to see a slip as well. I certainly think with the right 60 foot, a 10.7 is possible in this car in stock form. The problem is, I don't think this car can get the right 60 foot in stock form to get a time like that because of TM or whatever is limiting the 60 foots.

If you're talking about the 10.7 pass by gtredin, it's in the video's description

It's in the youtube comment under the video, just typed text, no time slip. I'm not buying it personally. I always show my time slips in my vids as proof.
What does the ZL1 weigh? 3950? |

Not everybody has good air, good track conditions, etc. Out here in AZ that would be running well with the mods it has done for our conditions.

Oh God, If that's his mod list then that time and mph is horrible.
It doesn't specify the weather or location, maybe he's in Colorado lol |

Here's some interesting info... http://www.stealth316.com/2-calc-hp-et-mph.htm Doesn't matter how you get there, but if you really want to get there you gotta have the power/weight figured out. |

That's why I asked what the ZL1 weighs. Googles say 3800-4100. Has anyone weighed their car? Then just add weight for driver and hit the calculators online and you'll know where it should be based on physics and a 100% perfect run.
I've used Wallace Racing Calcs for years: http://www.wallaceracing.com/Calculators.htm Particularly this one: http://www.wallaceracing.com/et-hp-mph.php Remember, these are purely based on physics and assume no wheel spin, perfect conditions, etc. I've also found that the HP figure is crank HP from my testing. When you plug in 4000 lbs and 650 for the ZL1 you get a 10.67 at 126.61. Comparing to my Hellcat which I weighed at 4500lbs without me in it +180lbs for me = 4680 and 707 HP you get 10.94 @123.57. My Hellcat has run 125ish in the traps thus far and that falls inline with thoughts that it's a bit under rated from the factory (plus dyno results) so I used 735 and it's 10.80 at 125.18MPH so pretty close IMO. |
