Redline Motorsports....Worlds First 1000 HP ZL1 1LE

Serious package we just finished on this 2018 ZL1 1LE featuring our PHASE 4 performance package. Car rolls out hard with all this diesel torque!

(Not trying to bait) --- Given it's on a 1LE model... Have you done any track level testing with it to see how that combination could handle being pushed on a road course?

(and, yes, I nod to 1KHP being used on a front engine, RWD car on a twisty course w/o crap tons of tire and brake).

To be honest this customer didn't really care. As a 1LE owner myself the car is at a perfect power level stock for the track. Its actually quite amazing as a package....however we all know how the bug is and people want what they want!

That's insane. What had to be done for fuel?

I'm also curious what that Whipple would make without the heads/cam.

While I only have the base ZL1.. I've told multiple people that the car, I feel, is very well balanced.. There doesn't seem to be too much or too little of anything.. I've not had a chance to drive the 1LE variant myself, but, I can imagine that those lovely 3R tires must be nice around a fast turn.

I'm just curious how many will hop up the power levels on the 1LE and then start hitting aero walls on their.. um... "Little Mexico" pulls.

Looks like the standard two nozzle methanol setup to make up the fuel deficiencies and increase octane. It works well, as long as that meth pump never fails...

Amazing numbers, redline motorsports is always on point!

However, I'm suprised this customer didn't buy a base ZL1. On a public road its hard to have fun with the power of the ZL1 1LE (stock), unless you have perfect road conditions.
