Track insurance quotes
I checked RLI, Lockton and Ontrack and was quoted about $300 for $43k and a 10% deductible.
Is this high or par for the course these days? Where are you guys shopping for you HPDE insurance? |

Just got Lockton for a weekend, $40k and 15%, $260 for the weekend. That seems like a fair deal to me.

My Lockton policies for the last 2 events were $250 +/- $5 for $40k for the car + $2.5k for mods with 15% deductable for each event, one at Summit Point and the other at Dominion Raceway.
PRO TIP if you are an SCCA member and it's an SCCA sponsored event Lockton does 10% discount which makes their price pretty much in line with RLI or a few bucks cheaper!

$247 for one day, $45k w/ 10% deductible, is what I paid on the 28 of last month. This was at laguna seca.

These prices seem about correct. I bought a 3 event pack and was given a 10% discount. The insurance covers the entire event be it 3 day, 2 day or a single day.

It must be the venue, I just quoted the next closest track and it was $50 cheaper.
