Happens ALL THE TIME. I went for an oil change, and I just hear my car SMASHING down the street. I know it was my car, because I did not see another obnoxiously loud car at the dealership. Long story short, I told the service manager and he gave me another free oil change for the future lol. I honestly wouldn't have minded if the guy wanted to take it for a spin if he'd just ask...

I have a dashcam. Showed the mechanic stopping at a Royal Farms to grab some food while doing my transmission line recall.

should read the comments on this story on jalopnik. http://jalopnik.com/owner-tracks-dow...ite-1801816145

Got some people actually trying to defend misusing other people's property.

makes you glad that you can do your own routine car work. Lots of shit workers out there employed by dealers.

I love the grease heads in there trying to defend the mechanic in ****ing line at In-N-Out.
My ****ing girlfriend isn't allowed to eat in the car. Why the **** should I be cool with some shmuck grabbing burgers with his ****ed up dirty fingers?! Hellllllll no.

You test drive, sure, but be respectful to the car.

I saw that video too.

Following this line of logic. Can I go get something to eat at a drive thru when test driving a vehicle at the dealer? No? Why?

If you're letting the mechanics do it to my car during service, why can't I do it to your car when test driving it?

I bought my car at Montebello... They offer two extra free oil changes when you buy a new car, I take my car to a different dealership for oil changes, won't go back even for free. I got a 2SS for 39K or I would have walked out the door just from the way they treat people. Long story short, don't go there for service or purchase.

I like your thinking here.. I have a few posts here about my dealer screw-ups. Maybe lunch for me
