Well I'm pullin' for you. Not gonna hit it in my M6 any time soon.

Nice driving.

There is no hard limit or specific 60' time that torque management will limit it to. It is a variable and as such will vary with air density, traction, etc.

I'm not so sure.....while the limit won't be in the terms of a 60' time, there is a limit to how much torque the car will allow at a given speed, throttle position, etc. The result of that limit "could" eventually show as a pattern of the 60' time. With 17CamaroZL1's 1.7s I think he reported still getting some tire slip/spin so he's not technically found the limit yet I don't think.

Is there not a Mr. Squiggles button on the dash to turn TC (and TM) and all completely off on the ZL1? I think my 2SS has one, and the Hellcat definitely does.

Yes you can turn it off by holding the button down until both lights come on. Then you have to drive it because it will blow the tires. I don't know what the car will do if you could get it to dead hook with the two turned off.

You can turn off TC, but not TM. It's built into the factory tuning to protect the drive train. To adjust TM, you'd have to tune the car.

Correct. Even with good track prep that allows me to launch harder with little spin, I still can't mat the throttle. If drag radials will allow that, there is likely another .1 or more I think I could chop out of the 60' before torque management limits any further improvement.

With low traction, yes, it will blow them off.......but in a controllable way. For max acceleration, you definitely still have to drive it. If it would dead hook with all off, you'd go really fast, really quick!

Right, to the best of my knowledge. I wish there was a setting that would allow us to ramp up or down the TM as needed for the traction available. That would be the bomb!

The majority of my 60' times have been in the mid 1.7s, with a best of 1.72. Generally I don't get any wheel spin, at least not that I can feel. I still think this car is capable of 1.6s on the street tires, it's just going to take more seat time, good track prep, and probably a bit of luck to do it.

The one I posted above of your 11.17 pass. They were all referencing some Hennessey (?) video that looked kinda like garbage to me but what do I know LOL. I like seeing what the cars actually do at a track.

The Hennessy roll racing videos? Where they were running a ZL1 against a Hellcat and each one was leaving at different times? Yeah.....you can't really go by that. I like hard numbers much better.
