Thx Sean! Jeez if he runs 4 camber isn't he cording the inside? Reluctant to start moding anything on this car. 2.9 is Provoste's camber I believe? And if he gets good wear out of them at that spec, 2.6 is not that far off (perhaps with a bit less longevity for the outside). Guessing tho...

According to tire temps, at that specific track, -3.8 to -4.0 was an ideal camber for a 305 P DH slick.

Provost, how are your piston dust boots doing? Mine roasted, cracked, became brittle and are falling apart now.

Ouch, 2 events is unacceptable for sure. I know some race pads (won't mention any names again, don't wanna sound like biased) might be bit more expensive up front but they definitely pay up in the long run

X25 has answered replied to this question on the other thread. I think he's right

1LE on Oschersleben, German DTM track

Yesterday I took my Betsy to a proper German Touring Car grand prix track. It was raining the whole day and in the rain I was able to give a Porsche Club member in a GT3 RS a run for the money over 20 min head to head (overtook pretty much anything else out there). In the very last session the ideal line got dry and we could all attack a bit. Was battling it out with a GT4 (who I easily had in the rain) and a Gallardo scuadra corsa + a 991 Turbo S. On the straights especially their advantage was hard to deny, but on the brakes I was able to brake 5-10 meters (yards) later than any car Iīve seen that day. I think without a passenger with me, they would have had an even tougher time. The 1LE is just fantastic!
Itīs my first time on a proper GP track, so excuse the talking, I got very excited
Looking forward to some feedback!

This was my first weekend with P-Zero slicks on my 18 inch wheels. The Pirelli's are MUCH better tires than the Yoko slicks I ran previously (only because Pzero's weren't avail). My previous best was a 1:14.7 on Yoko's, and this 1:13.7 looks surprisingly easy. As you can see, my run onto the straight to begin the lap was awful due to traffic, 1:12's are definitly in the cards in the future. It is amazing how big a difference the MUCH lighter 18" wheel/tire package and 6% shorter effective rear gear make for acceleration and gear selection. I laughed out loud when I found out my best lap was rolling through T2-7 in 4th gear!!! Gotta love that torque. Unfortunately, traffic was substantial so I wasn't able to get that 1:12! Here's the P-Zero vid:

I was able to beat my previous PB on RE71R's by .6 seconds. This was the first day on my second set of RE71R's.

Pure magic! Optimized to the max, even with a proper "qualifying style" gas management I really wonder how 18 inch wheels + slicks feel like. Must be incredible, I'm already super impressed with the stock setup.
Amazing driving as always, you really show what's possible with our car!

Btw, my alignment maxed out at -2,1 in the front. I even added 5mm plates because the guys said there is danger of the rims rubbing against the dampers. Any suggestions what you guys did to add some more? Was hoping for around 2,5

You should be able to run the OEM wheels with -2.5 or -2.6 front camber with no issue. I had about -2.4 camber up front when I had the OEM wheels and seen some people were able to get -2.5 or even -2.6

A few pics from the infield at Iowa Speedway during a recent AutoX event. I somehow managed 8th raw, 10th PAX with some very fast cars there. Amazing the difference a track alignment did. The car will actually turn now!
