Smell after Break in?
Hey all, I just bought a used 2016 Camaro automatic . The other day it just ticked over to 3000 miles, so for the first time since I have owned the car (I put 2000 miles on it myself never going over 3k revs until yesterday) I took it to 6k and to about 90 miles an hour. As I slowed down (no brakes until the very end) I noticed a faint burning smell coming through my cabin. This car has been to the dealership multiple times and has had everything checked out with no issues. So I was a little worried about this smell. Does anyone have any clue what it could be?

I could see the exhaust manifolds possibly getting hot enough to cook off a little residue. I wouldn't worry about it unless you spot a visible leak somewhere.

On a side note.
The worst thing you could have done to the engine is not rev it above 3k for the first few thousand miles of its life.
