Steering Modes

I keep mine in Sport mode, but did the override to Tour for the steering yesterday. Seems like a lot more fun to drive, especially when the rear gets loose. Maybe because it feels a little bit more out-of-control...dunno.

Tour steering is nice because there is just as much feedback as any other mode with less weight. I usually use touring or sport, never track steering mode.

Am I the only one who likes Track mode steering?

I only like track mode unless I’m parking
Maybe I’m weird

The steering in Track mode reminds me of my friend's '94 Viper, my only experience with 400 or more horsepower before I got my SS. So it definitely feels like a sports car "should" (in my very limited experience), and it is fun. But not what I prefer to use day in and out.

Motor Trend explained it best with these things. All it does is just make it harder to steer, going up to Sport or Track doesn't make the steering RATIO any more responsive so no sense to introduce artificial resistance.

I use Tour steering only on the street and track.

Track mode only on the Autobahn when we are flying very low.

I keep the steering on Tour and the exhaust on Sport. It responds well and sounds even better!

I have been running mine with overrides for track suspension, track exhaust, and sport steering. Seems to be a good combo for me!

Track steering, reminds me of the weight of an older bmw or 911.

I like the Track setting because it provides more precise steering; eliminates the "floating" feeling in more relaxed modes.

I had a 350 Z with very tight steering & loved it. The 2SS feels the same in track mode.
