2 small front spoilers

Hello, what are the 2 black plastic front small air dams that come in the trunk of ss for? Dealer told me only put those on if your racing at the track it's for the break cooling in the front. I can't post pictures. There is a picture of one in the tail of the dragon thread on page 2.

Your dealer is right. And so is your owner manual, if you bother to read it.

Hey, Magnum, thanks for asking; I was wondering myself. Yes, I read the manual but must have fell asleep & missed the few sentences devoted to this topic in that massive missive!

Some on this site are more anal than others on things manual!

You will find it under "driving and operation" in the manual page ~207

I just read it. It is to cool the breaks. Your supposed to use it only when racing. Why do i see a lot of people installing these for regular driving? Looks?

I installed mine and didn’t take them off because of look or racing, but just pure laziness. Left them on after I left the track last time and just didn’t feel like popping them off.... and because the dealership ripped a screw head off.
I don’t drive in rain, snow or inclamate weather unless it’s a freak storm out of nowhere. It’s not going to ruin or degrade the stopping power just staying on.
