Your comment reminds me of the old 80's movie Born in East LA when Cheech repaired a customer's speakers

There is a calibration update (no bulletin) that significantly reduces the obnoxious low frequency response of the AMP. My car was built in May and needed update. Significant improvement without a reduction in sound quality.

Fixed my rear deck rattle. Simple fix.
I have modified some home speakers in the past using this special foam with layers of rubber to dampen the sound waves inside the speaker cabinet. Sure lots of things would work for this application as it's not actually being used for sound dampening. But, in order to squish a couple of pieces through holes on the rear deck it needs to be malleable yet springy enough to put pressure on the flimsy stamped steel and the plastic tray. From inside the trunk I stacked 2 squares of this foam and stuffed it up in the middle cutouts between the two woofers. The light pressure being exerted on the two panels was enough to stop the rear deck rattles.

I have this problem. Anything over 1/3 of the volume and the music is unlistenable due to the excessive rattling in the doors. Very annoying.

I get rattles from the right rear when I'm going down older streets/roads at 25 or less. Once I'm on smoother roads at higher speeds, there's no rattles. I wonder if this has been the cause........it even rattles with the music off.

Same problem
I'm having the same issue. My panels are vibrating and the rattle is driving me insane. I engineer audio and can't stand poor sound quality!!
