ECS kit question

I installed the kit with no issue until the last step. I have tried over and over and over and can not for the life of me get this filter to fit onto the supercharger. The supercharger inlet is 3 3/4. Filter is 3 1/2. The filter is only rated to be stretched 1/16 over its size. If anyone can tell me the secret it would be appreciated. Filter got pretty beat up trying to get it to fit. Got it on one time and it was so tight that it deformed the inlet of the filter and then popped itself back off.

I hear you on that ... I took mine off to clean after the initial install and boy was I surprised lol .... Took some doing but I used a bit of Tri-Flow (dry lubricant) and just worked it slowly on little by little it took a little while but I got it as long as it stayed strait on the compressor housing. I was going to ask Doug/Chris about possibly adding a larger filter in the future.

Otherwise this kit has been Great so far still loving it hope you do also .

I never tried to put mine on. I just run a turbo guard.

Seems like a high risk to me for a car I plan to drive often.

Great service from ECS. Told them about my issues and they sent a new filter out the same day.
The new filter is a much better fit. The flange size of the filter is larger than it should be but 100x better than having to stretch the old one 1/4 inch.

I don't drive mine daily. We have a lot of customers street driving with turbo guards. Good thing about the 6th gen is the engine compartment is pretty well sealed up!
