Exclamation CLICKING NOISE FROM REAR DRIVER SIDE! PLEASE HELP!

So I was on my way home today and as I was coming to a stop I heard a clicking noise or what sounded like the car was dragging something. As I accelerated, the noise slowly went away but coming to a stop again I heard the noise and the slower I got the louder the noise became. I got out of the car and checked under it to see if there was anything being dragged but there was nothing there or to see if there was something maybe caught in a crease. I have never heard this noise before. I've owned the car for a year and this is the first occurence. I plan on taking it to the dealership tomorrow. Please help!!

All 4 wheels/rotor mate surfaces are subject to a TSB where a clicking noise can be heard.. They remove the wheels, clean up the mating surfaces between the two parts and re-torque the lugs to 140 lb/ft..

Possibly it's that.

Don't know about that dragging noise, as that could be something altogether different and not this TSB I'm referring to.. Best to have the dealer check it out, like you've indicated.

I checked to see if I was dragging anything but nothing was visible. I checked the whole bottom of the car. I'll mention that to them when I go tomorrow but do you think it's anything that should stop me from driving the car until tomorrow?

Well, I'm not there to really judge for myself... but, I would say, always err on the side of caution on a vehicle making a noise that's undetermined in cause and specific location.

It could be minor or it could be a precursor to something else. I would say that you'd need to answer that for yourself as to whether or not you feel it's road worthy outside the trip to the dealer.

I just stopped driving the car and I think it's the suspension. Every time I hit a bump I go side to side not up and down and now the noise still clicks but when I pick up speed it becomes consistent until I slow down. The back end feels loose and sloppy as well. It keeps swaying left and right

Axle shaft bolts may be loosening.

UPDATE:

So I brought my car to the dealership and I was told that the clicking noise was rocks and dirt in the control arm boot. Does this sound legit because I think it's crap tbh.
