Winter storage questions
I've stored my car last year, but this was prior to me having my supercharger installed. While its still about 2 months out yet, I want to be prepared. That said, is it reasonable to drain the coolant from the supercharger or keep in during the storage process. On average, I put it away about October and don't bring it out again until April.
Thoughts??\

Check your coolants (SC and radiator) so they don't freeze. (it gets cold in Ohio...lol) I just cover mine, put battery tender on it. Some Ppl pull the battery,
and jack them up. I used to put them on jack stands, no difference. Mine does sit on carpet with plastic under carpet (like a vapor bearer, non heated garage) Last year, looked like the day I put it away. |

I’ve been told it’s not the greatest on the suspension to have it up for thee plus months on jack stands.... kind of like decompressing a magazine spring inside a pistols or rifles magazine..... they’re not designed for it.

I am planning on just using a trickle charger.... and about once a week I go start it up to let all the fluids flow

Yeah, don't do that. Once you put it to sleep for the winter leave it alone.... restarting it without running to 20 minutes (under load, not idle) hurts more than helps.....If you want to start it , you need to take it out and drive it for 20 minutes, get it up to temperature and let everything burn off in the oil. If you can't do that, let it sleep.

Thanks all.
I was more concerned about the supercharger aspect of it. but it sounds like nothing different than normal storage.
