I think it is a good starting price but be prepared for people to try to talk you down.

Your best route to go is a dealer trade in. You always get the best value for a trade in when the dealer is trying to move something of the lot.

Selling a modded sports car is going to be tough. You put 5k miles on the car in under a year, also a red flag to buyers. Not trying to be negative, just giving you a unbiased opinion, wish you all the best.

Would I be better off putting it back to stock?

Yes. You are going to get the same amount of money (or less) if you keep those mods on. Plus a dealership might be reluctant to take it in with those mods. And some private sale buyers who are anal or just wnna be pricks will give you a hard time and actually try to talk you down...like "oh if I buy this I'm not gonna have a warranty because of the mods so I can offer you only $17,500 for it", SMH. So take them off and sell them. Kooks headers sell like hotcakes even used.

I'm sure its better to remove mods and sell the parts, Stock car will bring better money.
Now you have the other problem, Can you sleep at night knowing you sold a car without a warranty?

you already have the ad up, might as well try to sell it as is with the mods. i think most of these cars will end up modded up or wadded up anyways; so you may come across a person that is looking for a car with your setup.

as others stated - you can buy a less optioned car new for 59+gg and bs fees; which really equates to 61k on average depending on any options the car has such as exposed cf, nav, etc.

i dont think 5k miles is an issue on a year old car. the zl1's are low production vehicles, but unless you bag it up and store for 40-50 years it will not be worth any more then in todays dollars, and most people that spend 60k on a car want the latest and greatest just as all of us did when purchasing, and wouldnt buy it anyways.

Lastly- here is something to consider from a rant thread in a different forum:

Not sure if your state has the same dealer trade rules in reference to tax. IL where I live, let's say dealer gives 54k trade value, you also save paying taxes on the first 54k of your new vehicle. So, $54k trade in + 10% tax savings = $59.4k you would need to get private party to break even. Food for thought....

+1 You sell that on Craigslist and your going to lose your tax savings trading it into a dealer.

For me....the price is too high. I'm another one in that camp that had a starting price lower than that with a dealer when I bought mine. In my opinion when you're even within $5K(ish) to a brand new price, go brand new.

Take your mods off and use your car as partial trade in for the A10 (crazy to switch btw ). That way you can reinstall your mods on the A10 (major benefit since you're buying the "same" car again), or you can sell the mods used for a little additional recoup.

Just keep it for a couple years, pay it down, then trade later. You have a zl1 with a more durable, track focused transmission anyway. Trading now is wasting more money than I think is worth it.

You won't sell it to someone who wants a warranty, so leave the mods on initially because that is the person you would attract anyway.
