No, the original point was for the OP to decide if he wanted a V6 or V8 but as always it turns into a pissing contest. As I have said several times, both are great cars and the V6 is impressive. Get what you like. I never trashed the V6 on here, just corrected some bs about the V8's that was stated.

The thing is man you did come on to our site and kind of downplay our v6 and that's all fine and dandy I know you guys love the bash the V6 on Gen 5 site but the thing is bro our gen LGX V6 Camaro's are actually beasts so we don't take any type of crap. The bottom line is we love our cars they're fast they look amazing they handle like they're on Rails and we have no time for guys trying to say they're not they're beastly cars bottom line.

Show me where I "down played" the V6!!! If you bring up the exhaust sound and that is the only thing you can "find" of me down playing then that is pretty sad. That wouldn't be a down play either, that would be my opinion of it and as always, everyone has a different opinion. And I didn't know you owned the site or that 6th Gen owners owned the site. I also didn't realize that this is not a public forum and that I had to own a 6th Gen to be on it. Now that you have corrected me on that I will leave.

So yea, fast is relative. My best ET so far is an 8.1 @ 89.85mph in the 1/8 mile; which, by the way, why is it so hard for some of you to read? I mean it's literally right there in my signature, below every one of my posts. Yea, I go to the track and I have fun. I floor it when I have an onramp to myself (0-80 is so satisfying by the way), and every time I get a safe moment to do so, I'm enjoying the hell out of the 450HP/450TQ.

I used to have a 4th gen SS and the fastest I ever went at the track is a 7.7 @ 93.94mph, with a 75 shot and some borrowed slicks, but I ran up to a 200 shot at one time--and beat a Ninja 600 in a race. No times with that much nitrous though...unfortunately. Anyway, I miss that speed, and want to go even beyond that. A Hellion twin turbo kit or a Procharger kit are definitely in my future. Going to be going back to school soon, and getting paid to do so, so I'll probably be able to pay my car down while buying some toys

So yea, your car is beastly to you...cool. Some people think their minivans are fast. In my eyes, as someone with an addiction for going fast, your statement just has me cracking up
