throttle controller

thoughts or issues with the Pedal commander or Vitesse throttle controller? pros and cons?? I looking for just a little edge, I raced my car for the time Saturday and run 12.09 stock w/factory tires and flower master axial backs. Trying to break into the 11's...

While it doesn't make the car any faster, it changes the the time differential from your foot to the engine. It actually helps me get off the line a bit quicker with the M6. If you're holding the pedal at a certain point then go from part to full throttle, it helps the computer respond and therefore helps the engine respond faster. It may help, it may not. It helped me a little, but it might be a purely psychological help.

I wouldn't buy it planning on it making you faster, but it might.

I agree with everything you've said.

I have plenty of seat time now and I know my car, I went one time to the track and I forgot to turn it up to SP9 ( it's was on like SP4 maybe?) and I mashed it on the last yellow....it didn't respond til the full green and I had like a .4 reaction time (I don't recall the e.t. but I wish I did). It's an odd feeling in just that split second when you have a pedal request and get nothing in response.

I would recommend getting the VTC just for the daily driving experience also, I hate the lag.

I like it for daily driving. My 60ft didn't increase one bit though :(

I haven't used my VTC since I put the ProCharger on my car. I've just been too lazy to take it off and sell it....
