That's happened to maybe one or two people on the track? I didn't think this is a widespread problem, but correct me if I'm wrong.

To play devil's advocate, with the M6 you get a car that falls on its face during normal low speed driving, and can't produce a good 60' time to save it's life. I feel like those two things would bother me more than the potential issue with the A10.

I believe GM is working on correcting this issue through a possible reflash. There is a member here (can't recall his name) involved in it to some extent.

It is odd that they would have this cooling issue with the A10 when there was a similar cooling problem with the A8 in the ZO6's.

Coming from the Corvette community, there were some M7 cars that also had overheating problems on the track and had to add the extra cooler were the auto trans cooler was on the auto cars. My 2016 Z06 M7 actually ran hotter in normal city driving than my A10 ZL1 ever has thus far, in the Houston Texas humid temperatures mind you!

Personally I think you only have to worry if your going to track the car. It's nice not having to constantly shift through the City and enjoy my coffee in the morning drives...

Again, it's nice to have a choice these days! Hopefully GM will keep that for years to come!

A10 is awesome. Plus, seems to me that listening and feeling the A10 shifting has a manual feel.

Does the ZL1 suffer from rpm hang?

Just curious if you ever got a chance to test drive the Zl1 with the A10? The A10 is light years ahead of the A6 that was in the 2011 SS .

I have an A6 in my 2014 CTS-V coupe... every time I drive it immediately after driving the ZL1, I feel like I stepped into a time machine. The difference is pretty striking

I'm on the A10 bandwagon. I love it.

A10 here and it's been great under daily driving and track conditions. No regrets at all. Amazing piece of technology.

I swore I'd never own anything but a manual, but after test driving both, my busted left knee let me know it would be much happier not having clutch duty. That, and pained me though it did, I had to admit the automatic car felt much faster. So that is what I've ordered. I hope I don't regret it.

The part I love best about the A10 is that my ZL1 doesn't have one.

Not at all, extremely fast shifting! Not like the A8, especially when paddle shifting. ZERO ISSUES!
