I stopped by my dealer and give them the TSB # and told them gap between the the front tire and fender has bothered me from day one.

They looked up the TSB # and ordered the springs right on the spot. Called me when the they came in and we scheduled a time for the install. All pretty straight forward and hassle free.

Maybe I just need to go in person then. Every service advisor I've spoken to on the phone acts like I'm speaking a different language even after I gave them the TSB #.

I don’t think it’s coded into Chevrolet’s database well. My advisor had a very difficult time pulling up the bulletin. He had to type the numbers in about 6 times different ways before it popped up.

Doesn't GM pay them for warranty work? If so, their loss, not mine.

I'm getting mine done as we speak. I had issues too over the phone. I went in person and at first he couldn't find it under my vin. He then typed the number we have in and couldn't find it either. So he said he wanted to look under "suspension" for ZL1 and there it was. He said the way GM put it in is a way to hide it and you have to look specifically under "ZL1 suspension" and it is there for the springs. Hope this helps.

Awesome, thanks! I'll swing by one of the dealers Saturday and request they search that way. That'll at least be a good starting point.

What is the best approach to the dealer you guys have come up with so far? Mine probably will be clueless until I find the right person.

Just tell them the front fender gap bothers you and you stumbled across a GM bulletin online. I gave my service advisor the bulletin number directly and he looked it up that way. It will not come up if they just check against you VIN like normal.
