It didn't void warranty at all I can't speak for everyone but at my dealer and I know most are that but anything after the last o2 sensor doesn't void any drive train warranty just the warranty on the exhaust system
What x pipe did you use?

Would deleting the secondary cats and putting an x pipe in make it impossible to pass emissions testing? Also would there be a sound noticeable sound and tone change if i were to remove the secondary cats and replace them with aftermarket high flow cats and a x pipe? What y'all think?

There are no aftermarket high flow cats for us that just bolt in would require some custom work. There is someone I cannot remember who that used the 5th gen downpipe high flow cats and the exhaust shop was able to make them fit. I cannot promote or guarantee this.

I want/need some bigger downpipes high flow cats for the primary cats I reached out to SOLO and they have 0 plans to do the 6th gen I asked if they had any bad or damaged laying around from 5th gen that I could test fit. They said no and invited me to come to them with my 6th gen.. however they are in Toronto so that is not happening.

Gotta check to make sure they're compatible but solo still has high flow cars and their products are top notch.
So are they completely compatible? You gonna buy some?

Damn I live in ga. That is too far for me too. I might use some universal high flow cats and a x pipe.

I have the A8 though in the Manual my setup would def have drone at 70+ cruising speeds.. However in the A8 I dont get barely any drone until 2100+ RPM which is 82+ MPH.

High flow cats I am not made aware of any that are purposefully made for our cars however nothing a muffler shop couldnt figure out for you. I can tell you deleting the secondary cats make a huge diff in sound.
I was thinking about moving my mufflers to my secondary cats position , would that improve my sound any? Does it cause any vibration or drones where your mufflers are? Are you going to still need secondary cats?

I think you're just getting in over your head now. The reason he has what he has is because he has J-pipes as well, otherwise it will drone like crazy. I experimented on my 2013 and all you get when you start chopping up your exhaust is uncertain circumstances, unless it's a V8. High flow cats will help, secondary cat delete will give it some noise, it's why Borla has it in their system. X-pipe will make it deeper but it will make it quieter as well. The car won't sound like a V8 all you'll get if you go uncertain routes is noise and drone. If you want it louder focus on down pipes and high flow cats and the secondary cats. If it's too loud then you can add an X-pipe. I think your car sounds great as is, I like you, always wish it was a 'little' louder though too. But after my debacle with my 2013 and how unhappy I was, I'm just going to enjoy the axle back.

I hate to hijack the thread, but I guess it's closely related to op's question... what about H pipes? Has anyone tried them on these cars?

The car comes with an H-pipe as a crossover.
