Turbocharged LGX???

Any company thought of making a turbo for the 2016+ Camaro v6? I love the sound of a turbo, just not on a 4 cylinder... Any thoughts from anyone on turbochargING a LGX platform?

It would have been sweet if GM gave the v6 camaro the twin turbo from the ATS V Sport or the CTS V Sport. Giving the v6 Camaro that power would have been awesome, no need for the turbo 4cyclinder then. Not trying to alienate 4 cyclinder owners at all. Just believe that would have sold like hot cakes a single turbo and dual turbo v6 model.

PS : is it possible to port a CTS V or ATS V sport engine to our v6 platform w/o major amounts of fabrication?

The block is the same family, and turbos hang right off the heads. Likely even have the same bolt points and bellhousing pattern. I believe they use the same a8 transmission as well. The problem would be getting a used engine out of wrecked ct6

I'm sure somebody can double check it

Little more involved that that.. The intake system is completely different as well. The ct6 gets the A8 out of the SS the 8l90.. the v6 has the 8l45

The "V" twin turbos won't fit the Camaro, they're actually still using the older 3.6 engine family motors.

My affiliate shop in Florida can build custom single or twin turbo kits but the Overkill supercharger I think is the right way to go. The system installs easily, is super reliable, makes great power. We've done a couple supercharged 5th gen Camaros now where we've removed their custom turbo setups that either had blown/leaking turbos or were poorly fabricated. Starting with OEM turbos is a nice idea but likely not to be a simple swap.
