That is what I'm looking for, wonder why nobody is making a kit? Loads of people swapped gears in the 5th gens.

Chevy is spending some time at the drag strip with the SS. So maybe gears are in the equation. But then that makes the gears a little weaker. So far the gears/diff in the SS has been stout. The stock axles could be the shear pin.

Aftermarket development is down across the board right now. Not only are car sales plummeting, so are sales of performance modifications. It isn't just Camaro part sales, either.

Companies that have debt right now are struggling because they cannot adapt to changes in landscapes quickly enough. Right now the companies that will continue to pay the bills are those that diversify their offerings, control costs to allow for low volume production without noticeable price increases and driving attention with targeted marketing. If you have low income and high debt payments, you're handicapped from implementing this flexibility. This leads to a drop in vendors, recognizable people from other companies going out on their own and a general lull in product announcements for new models.

From a macro-economic level, this will be the new norm until off-shore funds are repatriated into the US and wages begin keeping pace with inflation again (which they haven't since housing fell apart in '08). Even major part suppliers to the automakers are having trouble with debt load and low sales.

Are these parts that can be made in small quantities?
Custom cut and machined? Or are we talking about large forging runs and a huge quantity?

as much as i think gears would help the m6 cars,and heck id buy a set of 4:10 myself ,they are currently pointless,reason why? until the bog on launch issue with these m6 cars is fixed,no amount of gear is gonna do anything besides make it worse.

That tune issue will be worked out. Plus, doesn't this only happen on a high rpm launch? With the gears you may be able to launch at a lower rpm. Dunno, granted I haven't launched at a high rpm, but I have not experienced this. What is the launch rpm this starts at?

there isnt really a rpm it starts at,if you dump it or slip it to low it bogs,if you dump it at 4,5,6k it bogs,its been datalogged to death by various ppl with mods,nobody knows the issue,nobody can find the cause,girlynfg has the issue,multiple guys with varying power levels have it,from 400whp-800whp the m6 wont launch for crap,its in the tune its not the gears,until that tune issue is fixed gears will do nothing,besides change the fun factor for guys who play on the street.
