No worries...it's just a shame to loose the r/mohawk & does kill the lines when I compared them, but doesn't mean the car looks like crap?? That would be like saying the vert looks like crap too??

This car is killer & no need for anyone to get defensive...I would take a sunroof over that dreadful green!! Others went through a ton of hoops just to find one. Not a big deal & glad those that like them have the option.

There is a noticeable wind buffeting issue that the sun roof helps with. I was so against getting one, but now glad that I did. Also had no problem with a helmet and the seat pretty upright.

All I can say is it's good we have options. When the A10's were more scarce, I passed up a sunroof car 2hrs away for a non sunroof car 11hrs away. Like others, I prefer the roofline of the non sunroof car, but also dislike the way Camaros, or any car where the roof doesn't retract internally, look with the sunroof open.

Lots of opinions. I have one in my m6 but ordering an a10 and keep tossing back and forth.
I like the roof lines workout but not a had to be this way type of deal. I like the sun roof when its nice out and hate it when I have a helmet on.

Had mine (no sunroof) out on the highway yesterday here in PA with the windows rolled down. I didn't experience any wind buffeting, even at "speeds slightly above the posted limit"...

To the OP, if you are able go look at both. This is such a personal issue that the only way you're going to know is if you look at/test drive both.

Personally, I didn't care for how it opens and sits outside the car. I like the reverse mohawk roof line and I rather like the fact that the inside of the car is a little darker, it enhances the internal lighting. My .02.

Sunroof is great, I was against it at first. But I enjoy it plus you can actually feel the wind, hear the engine roar is just drive.

As others have stated, the sunroof can be cool - its like a well lit atrium for the car.

Well I didn't want a sunroof but I can either order a car without and wait 6 weeks or more or take one we found in Georgia that they'll go get Monday and I can pick up Tuesday.... Guess I'm going to have a sunroof.

My Hellcat has no sunroof. I don't want extra holes in a car with that kind of HP. Ditto for the ZL1.

And yeah...the square panel of glass ruins the lines of the car in a huge way, cuts headroom and adds weight.

When I want sun I drive my wife's Bug ragtop!

I've had a sunroof on every car I've owned. I was lined up to get one on the ZL1 as well until I saw how it looked without...never looked back after that. I had to keep the roof lines.

At the end of the day it boils down to personal preference. I see it as a vehicle to be driven and enjoyed...in and manner that one sees fit (and is legal).

To say a sunroof has no place in a car with that much hp is pure poppycock. The same could be stated about ac, radio, cooled/heated seats, alcantara, cf, convertibles, striping, etc., etc., etc.

To each his own. But I look the options offered and the technology "thrown in" in these vehicles. It is a great time to be an car guy.

I occasionally like driving with the sunroof partially open and the windows up. It is much quieter than driving with the windows down, but you still receive the benefit of fresh air and wind blown hair. Also, when its cool out during the perimeter months (for you non northerners that is the entire year, save for Jun-Aug), it is nice to have the shade open so you can feel the sun. Personal preference.
