ADRENALINE RED INTERIOR THOUGHTS?

I found a 2016 2LT RS Dual Mode Exhaust with low mileage and asking 26k but unfortunately it has Adrenaline Red Interior! I'm not sure how I feel about it and I'm uncertain how that would resale. I do know its a 400$ upgrade and everything but I just don't know. Any thoughts on Adrenaline Red Interior and Resale value?

I have the red interior in mines, I love it...but it's really up to you. If you're thinking about resale then don't get it lol

Buying a used V6 and worried about resale? That is all sorts of a bad idea. If you are really worried about resale, you shouldn't buy a car. That's what a lease is for.

I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of red but the basic interior color gets boring pretty quick. It's something that I now wish I had. It also depends on the exterior color...which is what?

The V6 is holding its own with resale values (as long as you dont pay sticker price). The V8 is right behind it. The 4 banger is the one sinking the boat. Everyone knows people are tweeking those Spark engines out the wazou plus many issues already around cooling and engine block failures.

Maybe private resale..... Trade-in is the worst for any car i have ever owned.

MSRP 39k Paid 32k a year later trade in is 20K...( I am not selling my car but this is book value probably less now since I last looked. )
Previous cars Mazdaspeed3 Paid 25k Owned for 3 years traded for 18k
Mazda cx-7 Paid 16k 3 years owned traded for 13k

Then my silverado but trucks are a diff story.

I am guessing this is due to the options on the RS. Is the Bose stereo and accent lights really worth the extra money? I just checked my value on KBB and its 20.5k. Thats a $2500 hit in one year. Not bad at all in my opinion. My BMW was 52k new and two years later worth 27.5k with less than 24k miles. Now it was a lease so it didnt hurt so bad. Buyout value was 35k. I guess the bank took the hit. I my years, getting all the options is a very bad idea for resale.
