Borla Exhaust for ZL1 (S-Type or A-Tak)

I might be late to the party on this but I am liking very much the Borla Exhaust systems for the ZL1's.

I am having a hard time deciding on which of the two I like better. They both sound great BUT I think the A-Tak has a slightly meaner growl to it.

Either way you can't go wrong with either choice.

The ATAK are louder, but the S-type sound better. In my opinion.

Yes agreed...the Atak is louder but I find it is not as smooth as the S-Type sound. It's all personal preference at the end of the day.

I have the Atak on order but it hasn't arrived yet. Hoping it's the "right" sound!

Has anyone heard the Corsa one in person. It sounds pretty good on the video clip. The one thing about all these systems is that none seem to equal the factory system in the appearance of the tips. I like the stock tips more than any other ones I've seen.

I agree that's why I haven't bought an aftermarket exhaust.

I guess you could cut the stock pipes and weld them to the system you like?

Like I said I have the Borla Atak on order and am not excited about the tips. If I am willing to hack up the factory exhaust cant the factory tips be mated to an aftermarket exhaust?

Agreed with these two ^ The S type is plenty loud, and has a great tone to it. The ATAK, is damn loud and has a nice tone to it, but IMO teh S-type is more pleasant to the ear

Just installed the ATAK this weekend. Sounds amazing. I also installed the cat delete pipes, makes it really easy to take the stock system out in one piece without any cutting. System was easy to install, the whole process took a little over two hours. Both stealth and track modes sound aweseome.

Of course when you can please make a recording. I'm curious to hear and see it in action. Glad to hear the install is pretty straight forward.
