Not sure how you could. Even with an adapter the existing stick shaft is quite a bit longer

I have spent way too much time with this so far lol.

I've messaged epco about the solution for myself with no response. i want a ball with a line lock button but want the mount like pictured above. The one above though has a 3/4 mount while the other companies dont offer a 3/4 ball with a button. I dont want the ball to sit "flush" with the boot. i want the post mount like above...

what path do i take?

Does anyone have any pics of the Speed Dawg shifter knob installed on a gen 6? I understand they do not have a retainer clip for the boot and would like to see how the install looks.

I ended up going with a speed dawg after talking back and forth with them. They have a specific camaro6 style adapter. I'll post pics when I get it. I went with a black pearl ball with a line lock button and white shift pattern. They have to make it so it's 3-5 weeks out.

Hello - the silver piece on top of the boot is from the bottom of the stock shift knob. If you go this route, take care. I buggered the edges on mine a little. No one has noticed it, but I see it every day.

The silver piece is actually from the bottom of the stock shift knob. If you go this route, be careful - I buggered up the edges of mine getting it off. No one has noticed it, but I see it every day.
