Drove mine 5.5 hours to home. Only thing about it was constantly shifting and taking off/on ramps often so I don't keep the RPM and gears the same for a long time per the manuals break-in process. Which was fine by me as the extra stops meant being the only person in the world to look at the 6th gen camaro on the streets as an owner more

Bought mine in Iowa almost 400 miles away. Drove it home it a driving rain storm. Not a scratch on it. If you're concerned then cover the nose and quarter panels in blue painters tape. Personally I wouldn't do it. Just leave room between you and the car in front so you don't get rocks kicked up.
