Auxillary Intercooler Resevoir
Curious if anyone has any information/suggestions about a larger air/water intercooler solution, engine bay or trunk mount solution such as an ice tank. I may be interested in running one in conjunction with a Magnuson Heartbeat and FI Interchiller. From a little online research, I didn't find an off the shelf solution/kit for the 6th gen Camaro yet. I'm not even sure it's a good idea for my interest/need which is just additional coolant capacity, if it creates more problems than it's worth, power consumption for supporting pumps, ect.
WEAPON-X Motorsports carries a trunk mount ice kit for the ATS-V which I haven't yet followed up on for compatibility with the camaro, it's on the higher end of the price spectrum of kits/units I've found. https://weaponxmotorsports.myshopify...weapon-x-ats-v Some 5-7 gallon generic ice tanks with a pump http://motorspares.424mb.info/intercooler-tank.html http://pnrwelding.net/ ttp://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Gallon-inte...172?rmvSB=true http://www.prpracingproducts.com/pro...ler-tank-kits/ http://shop.speedunlimited.com/p-118...made-pump.aspx |

You mean something like this?
This was prototype 1 prototype 2 is going on my car with a few revisions, 3rd should be perfect... I'll be using the rule 2000 pump in mine but if it ever goes south I'll switch to a stewart emp pump Can do it without the pump as just a resivor and radiator for a upgrade as well Bolts in all factory locations...setup for 1" water lines Is a modded jeep cherokee radiator with custom 3 gallon resivor over it, all in all between intercooled intake, resivor, lines and radiator I expect it to hold nearly 5 gallons There is a tad more room for a bigger resivor also, I think I can get another gallon up top without much hitch |

That's awesome, is it an upgraded engine or intercooler radiator/coolant-tank? My need is only for the coolant tank, not intercooler radiator. FI Interchiller recommends removing the SC intercooler radiator.

Now that's pretty slick! Just don't ever get in a frontal impact without that crash support.

currenlty only a radiator/resivor compound
the radiator (heat exhanger as most call it) oem should always be the first thing upgraded in a oem air water system, the stock ones love to heat soak |
