Just wondering if there is anything out there to cover the driver's side visor mirror when it is down? No, I don't want to just put duct tape over it ...

When I put it down, it is a little distracting at times since it doesn't have a cover like most cars do. Is there a replacement available, or do you all just get used to it? Haven't had it long, and not a big deal, just looking to see if there is a better way to reduce distractions when the sun is in your eyes.

Use a perfectly cut piece of 3m Matte black vinyl 1080 over it

Be thankful you don't have a convertible sun viser. They would have been better to take a quarter off the sticker and left them off.

You could swap it out for an illuminated sun shade (I suspect 2LT/2SS package). My '17 has the covered sunshade mirrors with two lights beside it that come on when you flip up the cover. Obviously not as inexpensive as finding a decal to cover it but to me a more finished look.

His info says he has a 2SS. Does the convertible have a different sunshade?

Yeah, I think you are right. Looking at the parts diagram it appears that convertible and coupe are different and I can't seem to find any reference to a covered illuminated mirror visor for the convertible.

I do have a convertible and the mirror is not covered or illuminated. Pretty crappy and useless really for the driver's side. It is a distracting reflection when down and driving into the sun ... at least to me. Not enough to complain about, just want to see what opinions you all may have to improve it. This is a rare, occasional, late drive into sunset conditions, so not a huge deal for me.

Didn't know the vert visors had mirrors. I haven't used the visor yet in my vert. No need, I wear a hat.
