First Camaro ZL1 1LE delivered to Rick Hendrick. No Wonder My Car's Not Here Yet
That Darn Rick Hendrick just had to stop the assembly line to pick up the 1st ZL1 !LE. The Team Chevy NASCAR owner paid $250,000 for the first ZL1 1LE at a Barrett-Jackson auction back in April. Rather than walking away with the car on the day, Hendrick was able to spec out his perfect track-monster and had it delivered late last week.
Thanks Rick  The saving grace is that I'll have him by 3/10th on the track by having him get behind the wheel adding his extra 100lb on me...lol |

I think he is a busy guy and they just made this happen late because I've seen others get 1LE deliveries already...maybe I'm mistaken but as far as I know there are some out there roaming the streets.

It has been at the plant waiting for delivery.... he is in town for the race at MIS..... it was built a while ago.....

I was a little confused by the title as well.
So basically Rick hasn't been losing sleep while counting down the days to take delivery like us working mortals would be if we plunked down for a ZL1 1LE. A few weeks after cars started shipping was good enough for Rick. |

I bet he scrapped the bottom on car on something when he drove it out.....

Yeah, there are many ZL1 1LE deliveries. I was ecstatic to pull up next to a SW ZL1 1LE at my local Coffee and Cars last Saturday. It made my SW SS 1LE look kinda insufficient...(even though my 1LE is plenty of car for me, the "need" to have the top dog ZL1 1LE is very alluring...) Will post pics this afternoon
