Based on the close-up photos, looks like your options are either: Drive around with an ACS logo or cover up with the Camaro tr-bar emblem, which it seems shaped for.
That's another minus. I think an option to have neither would be good. With the LED side marker and all the other stuff going on, it's too busy as-is.

Tacky. Are we becoming the import crowd now?
Maybe ACS will make us a nice hood scoop to glue onto the hood.

I voted "not a fan". I generally like ACS products and their quality is top notch on everything that I have seen and used of their's on past vehicles (2014 Corvette, 2013 Cadillac ATS). With that said, I'm a proponent of function.
The aerodynamic principles and design elements that allow for a heat extractor to do it's job are fairly well studied in the automotive world and I'm just not sure these rise to the occasion of functionality or at least any measureable thermal management or heat reduction at the brakes or in the engine bay. I see these as adding turbulence along the side of the car behind the wheel which could actually retain heat at the wheels (brakes). I haven't see the after picture of these installed from inside the engine bay but without a planned port under the hood, I don't see them as extracting engine heat. You'll create a pressure differential across the surface of the grille but where is the duct that will feed the extractor? |

No disrespect to Matt, I feel this way about this even outside of this forum. I just want to know if there is or isn't any incentive for reviews, whether it is here or on Amazon where I buy s bunch of stuff. And of Matt gets nothing from any of these reviews, great! Let us know and it will add even more legitimacy to them which is even better for him Last edited by Eric SS; 08-10-2017 at 11:07 AM. |

To cut part of the fenders to put this plastic ACS logo looking thing on our Camaros just cuts out more of the side profile of the car and looks tacky IMO. Next....

I been on this site a couple weeks and yes that's the vibe I get. A bunch of cheesy bolt on Nick nack and ugly wing spoilers. The cars need nothing off the lot. Leave them alone. U want to "build" a Camaro buy a 67 and learn some rust repair paint and body then call it built. Just my 2 cents from what I've gathered in a couple weeks.

i would not install these on my car because I like to keep my vehicles stock. However, if you think they look good, go for it. Remember, you are making the payments. It does not matter what others think. Just sayin...
