Removing factory rocker panel instructions.

I know some guys have taken theirs off to install Anderson Composites side skirts or the ZL1 rocker panels. My question is trying to figure out how to remove it. Trying to install my AC side skirts since body shops here are backed up for the next 3-4 weeks. I got my bumper off last night easily for the diffuser installation but when I proceeded to remove the rocker panels there was way more tugging than I'm comfortable with so I figured I should try and get some instructions first.
