How long are your 1LE tires lasting?

Just trying to get some info before I order mine(not that it will stop me from ordering). Not tracking your car, just daily driven during the spring/summer/fall? Looking for mileage, thanks guys!

--- just saw that this was already asked, sorry.

I have 6800 on the clock so far...they still look good. I have done about 30 to 40 0-60 launches where tires have spun, but no burn outs.

1 Track day and 7k miles. They are about toast. I can probably get one more track day out of them or another 3k miles and its safe to say they are dead.

5K out of my 1st set. That was ~50 AutoX runs and 6 track days.

I'll be moving on to the 3rd set in December.

Are you going to get another set or go another route?

I have 31,000mi on my fronts, but will be needing replaced in 5,000mi or less probably. Rears would've been about the same but ran over something and insurance replaced both rear tires. I don't autoX it, nor really had a reason to do any burn outs...all highway to and from work and back home to SA.

I have 6 track days and about 5G miles on mine.
The channels are almost gone, so wet performance would be questionable, but I still see a couple of dry track days in them, as the wear was pretty even with 2.6F and 1.6R camber.
Having said that, I did swap them for Cup2s which now have 3 track days and about 2G miles. The F channel wear is worse vs Goodyears (the edges are gone) but still plenty of rubber left overall.
Since I haven't run these 2 tires back to back, can't really tell what the pace difference is between them, but the butt feel tells me they are not far apart. I also drove on the Goodyears in absolute deluge after 3 track days and they performed superbly (at much reduced speeds of course).
Bottom line, given the Goodyears cost HALF of Cup2s, are damn grippy and still cost much less
than other choices - they are a no brainer pick for me. Basically I'd rather spend the same (or less) and have fresher tires vs spending more and then having to dodge rain to kill them to get full value out of them. Having said that, Provoste had nothing but good things to say about RE71R (but they are very hard to get where I live (sold out).
Hope this helps.

I have 8500 miles on mine and that's after throwing a Whipple on at 3K. I drive her hard but try to launch as much as I can without spinning a lot. Most spinning I do is when down shifting to 2nd and flooring it when getting on the interstate. Thank GOD for the eLSD!

24 AutoX runs, 4 3hour long mountain runs, and 11,000 miles of daily driving. the last 3k have been on track alignment. I think track alignment sooner would have saved the shoulders even longer. I have another autoX coming up then I'm running my first track day at the Charlotte Roval (3, 20min sessions) then I imagine they will only be good for daily driving duty and will have to be retired from track or autoX.

I daily drive at about 36-39 PSI to keep the tires off the outside shoulders.

I run AutoX and my spirited mountain blasts at about 30 PSI warm.

The inside 3/4 of the contact patch still looks like its good to go for 5k+ but the outside shoulders are probably closer to 35% tread life left. The main grooves of the tires still aren't at the wear bars and I doubt they will be when I get them replaced.

So I think its safe for you to expect 15k miles or more if you get your alignment done soon after purchase. Even if you don't plan to track the car I strongly recommend the track alignment!

The track alignment can be done at a chevy dealership or anywhere?

Interesting. I do not track my car, but enjoy "spirited" cornering. Are there any negatives to using track alignment for a daily driver?

Thanks.

66xx miles on mine, still look pretty good and that is with plenty of hard launches and playing around some.

I have seen no drawbacks to track alignment in my daily driving. Definitely noticed some improvement in handling though. My car had a slight tendency to push with factory alignment. After track alignment it seems to be a perfectly balanced car. Granted most if not all of that was likely due to the toe needing correction more than the Camber.
